2018-2019 Scholarship Awards

The Scholarship Program promotes the NBMBAA mission of identifying and increasing the pool of African-American talent for business, public, private, and non-profit sectors.

The NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter awards graduate ($2,500) and undergraduate scholarships ($1,500) scholarships to deserving African-American students enrolled in business and management-related university programs.

In addition, the Chapter awards undergraduate scholarships ($1,500) to deserving African-American high school seniors participating in the NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) Program.

Doctoral Scholarship Application Instructions 

Scholarships available to master’s and doctoral level students

Recipients receive:

  • Scholarship award of $2,500
  • Two Complimentary Scholarship Awards Reception Registrations

Master Scholarship Application Instructions 

Scholarships available to undergraduate university seniors and master’s level students 

Recipients receive:

  • Scholarship award of $2,500
  • Two Complimentary Scholarship Awards Reception Registrations

Undergraduate Scholarship Application  Instructions 

Scholarships available to high schools seniors and undergraduate university students 

Recipients receive:

  • Scholarship award of $1,500
  • Two Complimentary Scholarship Awards Reception Registrations

LOT Scholarship Application Instructions

Recipients Receive:

  • Scholarship Award of $1500.00
  • Two Complimentary Scholarship Awards Reception Registrations

KATZ MBA Full Scholarship Opportunity 

What Recipents will receive:

  • A Full Scholarship to Attend the Full-Time One-Year or Two-Year MBA Program at The University of Pittsburgh Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business.  For Out of State Residents, the Cost of the Two-Year MBA Program (4 terms) is Approximately $60,000
  • Waiver of Katz Application Fee
  • Waiver of GMAT Registration Fee
  • Two Complimentary NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter Scholarship Awards Dinner Registrations

The applicant must be a member of The NBMBAA-Atlanta Chapter and meet the follow requirements:

1. Be an African-American Student
2. Be enrolled full-time(12 semester hours) at level of scholarship for which you will be applying
3. have at least a 3.0 GPA
4. be a U.S. citizen

What Recipients Will Receive:
