Welcome to the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) Atlanta Chapter! Established in 1980, the NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter is a non-profit organization comprised of business professionals, entrepreneurs and MBA students. The NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter is dedicated to developing partnerships that result in the creation of intellectual and economic wealth in the black community. The organization operates around five channels of engagement: Education, Professional Development, Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship and Lifestyle. With more than 1300 members, NBMBAA Atlanta ranks as the largest chapter in the NBMBAA, and has been recognized as a thought leader in the professional and civic communities within the greater Atlanta area because of its effectiveness in developing and executing programs and initiatives that positively impact youth, its members and the community.

The Atlanta Chapter engages its members through Monthly Connection Forums, quarterly Networking Events, and Signature Event Programs that aid in the development of its members. Our most signature event, the NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter Annual Scholarship Luncheon celebrates educational achievement and awards more than $25,000.00 in scholarships to High School, Undergraduate, Graduate and Ph.D. candidates who have demonstrated academic and civic excellence. The Atlanta Chapter has maintained a continued focus on youth through our Leaders of Tomorrow (LOT) program where students are encouraged to make a difference in their communities through academic and enrichment workshops, as well as community service projects. The mission of our events, programs and initiatives are to build a solid pipeline of support through which our members and young people can travel from the classroom to the boardroom.

The NBMBAA Atlanta Chapter is committed to providing programming that truly impacts the community. We are dedicated to maximizing the return on investment through holistic development of our members; partnering with Atlanta- area corporations to form “360 degree partnerships” that link both partner and member. Signature programming such as the Professional Development Symposium, Entrepreneurial Institute and Scholarship Awards Luncheon help us advance this cause. These pillars focus on our key objectives of promoting higher education, career development and entrepreneurship. Our signature events have impacted countless thousands and continue to expand our reach in the community.
