The NBMBAA, Atlanta Chapter partners with the Senior Citizens Services Agency to conduct our Annual SWEEP Project

Location: New Horizon Neighborhood Senior Center, 745 Orr Street NW Atlanta, GA 30314

(ALL volunteers will meet at this location for registration at 8:00am and will leave from the center to selected home sites in the community).

All tools and supplies needed for volunteer projects will be provided.

Please join the NBMBAA, Atlanta Chapter for a day of direct service and community engagement. On Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 8:00am - 2:00pm, the NBMBAA, Atlanta Chapter will partner with the Senior Citizens Service Agency to participate in the Annual Clean SWEEP Project.

SWEEP is a focused, high-impact service project to assist seniors within the English Avenue and Vine City community.  Volunteers participate in home maintenance and repair projects which include yard work, raking leaves, cleaning gutters, mowing, trimming hedges, interior painting, exterior painting, installing grab bars, and more.

SWEEP is an opportunity to extend a hand up!  Join us for a morning service and fellowship.  This event is open to children, so please leverage this opportunity to answer the call the serve and share this community service project with your entire family. Service is a free opportunity to impact the lives of others.  We look forward to seeing you on May 7th!
