President’s Message

Welcome to the National Black MBA Association, Atlanta Chapter on the Web. As President, I’m pleased to introduce myself to you and to share with you my pledge to lead the Atlanta Chapter to even greater success in the year ahead. As we celebrate 30 years of dedication and commitment to the creation of economic and intellectual wealth in the African-American community, I stand firm in my commitment to excellence in our People, Programs and Profitability.

One of my favorite sayings is “If you want to know where I stand, watch my feet.” I stand squarely on my commitment to ensure that the Atlanta Chapter is the premier organization in Atlanta, to ensure that we are focused on People, Programs and Profitability, to ensure that we win chapter of the year!, and to ensure that we are the voice and ambassadors for higher education, entrepreneurship and professional career development throughout not just Atlanta, but the entire NBMBAA organization.

As you view the Web site, take a few moments to read about the Atlanta Chapter; you will find links to information on our five cornerstones: Education, Professional Development, Leadership Development, Entrepreneurship and Community.

Today’s Atlanta Chapter is an energetic, vibrant organization; one in which a strong leadership team works to offer rich programs in professional development and entrepreneurship as well as networking opportunities that provide value to our membership.

As we look to “Connect” this year, our goal is to collaborate with groups and organizations that will convert past barriers into future opportunities. Whether you are a potential or new business student, recently graduated, or seasoned professional, entrepreneur, corporate partner, public or civic leader, we want to engage you in being agents of change within communities that we serve.

Thank you for visiting our Web site. I hope you find the information valuable and it will motivate you to want to learn more by visiting us in person. Please join us at our monthly Membership Connection Forums the 4th Monday of every month and discover the excitement and energy of the Atlanta Chapter.
